ReplyDeleteA more useful contribution from your oriental colleagues would have been an explanation of the ancient custom of Seppuku, and the importance, in Japanese culture, of the concepts of duty and personal honour.
Seppuku or 切腹 - literally meaning stomach-cutting, Seppuku is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment.
