Great post and interesting discussion. It also reminds me how everyday environmental questions come up in many areas of life. For example, many people ask are ziploc bags recyclable. They’re usually not accepted in curbside bins because plastic film can jam recycling machines, but clean bags may be recycled through store drop-off programs.
