Can someone come up with a decent name for the "MPs' expenses" story please?

"MPs' expenses" itself doesn’t really cut the mustard – you can’t even put ‘gate’ on the end, it doesn’t sound right.

If you were going down that road then ‘snoutgate’ or ‘troughgate’ might be a better fit – but the whole ‘gate’ thing is a little tired.

Anyway, if I’m going to keep writing about this over the next few days, and it seems I am, then I need a new name.

Any suggestions?

The Great Leeching Scandal - not snappy enough perhaps.

Can't we make it a whole "MPs..." series.
First MPs' expenses, the MPs' back-stabbing, then MPs' sex-lives?

Expenses Cheats! - - - as in Benefits Cheats that the attack dogs of these rich MPs are "closing in on" to persecute the poor.

Can't help with that yet. But with an eye to historical naming of parliament, The Disreputable Parliament has a dignified ring.

Of course, if Brown is forced into an early election it would just become The Dissed Parliament.
