The leaders of the three main political parties are all fingering invitations to a live TV debate today.
Clegg and Cameron have indicated they’re up for it Brown has remained noncommittal.
The format would probably not suit the PM but he can’t afford to turn it down – an empty chair at the debate would create a neat picture for a Tory campaign poster.
Lobbydog wants to see the leaders fight out their positions in front of the nation.

It's another stark example of Murdoch pushng Brown out.
Murdoch doesn't need to push. Brown is sleepwalking into oblivion himself. It's only a matter of time.
I don't understand this - we all know it'll be dreadful, lots of pre-prepared non-committal answers and drivel
The only reason I can see for the support for this is to see Brown get publicly humiliated, and hopefully heckled by the public live on TV (not that I am not opposed to this, but it's not really anything to do with democracy)
