I read somewhere that the Iron Lady only slept four hours a night.
But if she drank as much as they showed her knocking back in this film she would have been out cold all day.
Overall I thought it was a decent watch though.
In the scene towards the end, when Thatcher hisses at Geoffrey Howe about his hair-cut, even Lobbydog admits a shiver went down his spine.
On a side note, did anyone notice the guy playing Dennis also played the evil emperor in Star Wars?

Did anyone see 'Margaret' last night?

An excellent drama but still the underlying leftie attitude to Maggie. Did she upset the BBC? As for the prortrayal, the tearful address to Cabinet was at odds with the persona hitherto shown. Her loyal supporters were marginalised, her collegues shown as unpleasant. None of that wholly true.
My biggest reaction was to the enormous similarity to todays events.
There was a similarity today's events, you're right. But the plotters today don't seem to have the gumption to take the final step.
Miliband talked about having a "Hesseltine moment", but the Foreign Secretary doesn't have the chutzpah that Tarzan had.
I didn't see it and forgot to Sky it. Have to admit thought I still respect Maggie. She took on the Biggest Boys Club in Britain and won for years.
