Bank Bosses Are Criminals

...is apparently the name of the group that attacked Fred the Shred's house last night.

I knew people were peeved, but the organised feel to the whole thing has taken me a bit by surprise.

An e-mail sent out by the group read:

"We are angry that rich people, like him, are paying themselves a huge amount of money, and living in luxury, while ordinary people are made unemployed, destitute and homeless.

"This is a crime. Bank bosses should be jailed.

"This is just the beginning."

So who is next? My money is on Andy Hornby - when I saw him in the select committee he looked like he'd have a mental breakdown if you said "boo" to him.

It will all end in tears. Ours.

Its about time for a peaceful but powerful march - London or Edinburgh - to show how angry and betrayed ordinary people feel. Is anyone organising such a show of feeling. if not, how do we get one going?

smash up his villa in spain nxt, it is a joke what is happening with peoples pensions and savings in the u.k

Good action. Absolutely a good action.

Government has a huge responsibility here, for example by charging Mr Fred a 110% income tax on his scandalous retirement benefit. And since they don't do what they should do, it's obvious that people start organising things in a different way.

Way to go...

Sir fred's days are numbered, if he doesn't give back the money or have his knighthood taken away then he deserves to get anything and everything coming to him..he has bad karma the scum bag.

Fred Goodwin was a Director and as such had Fiduciary Responsibility to all employees and share holders. If it is proven he acted recklessly and in a manner to both endanger the employment of staff and to damage the share holding of fellow directors, staff and share holders is in breach of company law and he is personally responsible. He has assets he has funds and all who have lost can make a case against him and his fellow board members. If it is proven they acted irresponsibly and in a manner that would lead to loss of share value or jobs. Then he and his board are all liable for prosecution. If proven they are indeed criminals!

If there was more actions like this maybe white collar criminals would think twice before they start stealing money from all of us taxpayers! The problem is, that people in this country cannot protest. We take every BS politicians and corporations bosses are feeding us with. Sad.

Anonymous said...

I totally agree with what they done. I hope no-one gets arrested. They should arrest Fred Goodwin, as all this mess the country is in is because of people like him!! he deserves all that is coming to him!!

The only reason the politicians don't go after his money with any conviction is that they are as guilty of theft as he is and he knows stuff that can hurt them. Sack the lot of them. If McNulty gets away with this we should all stop our Council Tax payments until he goes.

this does not go far enough in my opinion. i commend this group for their actions but this man should be executed

ROITS IN LONDON AND ALL MAJOR CITIES NEXT WEEKEND COME IN FORCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIME TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS BACK

Anonymous said...

Bank bosses and owners should be crucified, they are not just criminals, they are GRAND RIGGERS of our society. Lets organized ourselves and put down this systematic economic rigging. Unknown to ordinary person anywhere in the world, banks are controlling everybody. They control government.. even United States of America can't say NO to them. Banks lost its relevance in our present society.

The best news I've heard in weeks. Keep up the good work. There should be no hiding place for the likes of Fred Goodwin & Co, and they should be run out of this nation with absolutely nothing.
Bungalow Bill, Falkirk
p.s. "Take them all out, and I don't mean to the cinema"

YEA Ths is great news but will it bring us to the only solution to this crisis!!! A REVOLUTION blair and his wife has caused the collapse of our way of life the greedy b**stards, Mrs Blair is now suing our country for compensation for rich share holders, out with all the solicitors in government and back to business people running the government perhaps Sugar or Branson Lets March on London NOW!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I assume his property is insured and someone will repair the damage before he even sees it!
However, I wonder what his posthumous pension rights are?

Anonymous said...

Just saw the news here in Canada. It is time. AIG, CITI, GM, FORD, UBS, all of these fat cats getting paid millions when kids are going to school hungry. If we could turn off the power and reset all the computer data to zero. Then we could all start over again. Right now 40% of the worlds wealth is owned by 4% of the population. Most of them bankers!

Anonymous said...

If you cant spell riot anonymous, I hardly think you could organise one.
He should have been told to give his pension back, and if he refused had it taken from him, unfortunately someone screwed up on the documentation for his severence they were so keen to see him go, the pension was completely forgotten about. Chucking bricks at london bobbies and innocent passers-by is'nt going to alter that is it?
Although I applaud bankbossesarecriminals for their 'direct' action - target the source.

This crises has very clearly shown who is in power.
we all see how politician jump up like rockets to pump taxpayers money into the pockets of the powerful.
We only need to watch what's happening...

They said "No Vigilantes" - who else is doing something about all this corruption? Should we "WAIT" for the authorities? Wait for those that we employ to act and do something - rely on the government? NO, they've already proved they're unwilling to act. Something needs to be done to stop these greedy self serving fatcats and if nobody else is going to do it - the people have to. Well done whoever did this - just don't go over the top and harm someone! (Although I understand why you'd want to - hard when you've worked like a dog to pay taxes to keep these prats in luxury).

Anonymous said...

Ha ha - so Fred the Shred has gone to Nice on a BUDGET flight!! Any more info on this anonymous?

Anonymous said...

It is hard to justify criminal activity but not impossible. Should anyone think otherwise then I suggest they think “suffragette.”

Goodwin is pariah and deserves everything he gets. Having had his house and car vandalised I hope he “gets the message” and leaves the country.

Yours faithfully,
A. Long Suffering British Taxpayer.

Fred and his ilk didn't break the law. What they have done is perfectly legal. So change the law. In the meantime there are plenty who will be happy to exact 'rough justice' and they will be applauded. People get angry and become violent, and someone gets hurt. In Fred's case it would only take one well aimed bullet!

Anonymous said...

The government are all as guilty as Sir Fred. Arrogant and all in the old boys/backslapping club lining their pockets at the expense of the taxpayers. Brown will hope it will all become yesterdays news. How about another war!er North Korea should do. Good on the vigilantes,us Brits can be too timid but to save our dignity the taxpaying public need to show our metal. I see the Queen and the Bank of Enlgand chief met on Tuesday.Perhaps she can rid us of this corrupt, bankrupting Government?

Anonymous said...

I agree with above. These thieving bank bosses are as guilty as someone mugging you in the street. They have been aided by the greedy polititians. Judging by the recent RBS insiders revelations on Goodwin's spending of bank money on his personel lifestyle he should be prosecuted in the same way as Conrad Black(Lord)of Daily Telegraph,Hollinger Int'l fame. Strange they are all knighted, perhps it all goes to their heads, being above the law etc.

Anonymous said...

Fred the Shred is just a piker. The people you should be going after are the Rothschilds (in Britain) and the Rockefellers in the U.S. They are the monsters who have been manipulating the world for years including the current economic crisis just like they did in 1929. Do your research. It's one more step to a dictatorial One World Government/police state with them at the head of it.

Anonymous said...

The criminals are the thugs who attacked Sir Freds house, mindless vandals looking for violence.

i couuldnt care less about his wife and kids she and they know what this scumbag has done they deserve all they get just like the french royal family in 1798 cut there heads off, this is the beginning of the end for capitalism thank god its a rat race were only trash like goodwin win.

Anonymous said...

They sit in their ivory towers, it's time for them to lose all the stolen riches. Recompense the share holders. The boss of Northern Rock is sitting pretty whilst ordinary honest ,hard working people have lost their future security in the shares they bought in good faith.

Anonymous said...

You are all idiots. Has the whole world gone completely insane?!?!? What the hell is vandalism of his property going to achieve? Just think about what it means, since the threats towards Sir Fred began, over 20 CEOs of banks have a approached personal security companies because they fear for their safety. Goodwin's is being paid by RBS for christ's sake, you morons are just aggrevating a situation that is far from ideal as it is. Just stop pointing the finger and get over it

It seems these bankers are ripping every consumer. Here in the U.S. HSBC has raised credit card APR rates to as high as 28% Discover Card 21%. Banks are screwing people all over the world. Its all about the money. They just can't get enough of it. And they screw every person over, just to get more money. Bankers are greedy Bas%#&ds.

Sheer , total ,complete greed - and a total lack of shame , this is the logical end of what started under Thatcher - everyone for him/her self, no such thing as society , etc.

The sooner people take to the streets and let these clowns know that enough is enough the better.

Anonymous said...

This is the huge problem, each and everyone of us is so angry, and nothing gets done..i just wish i knew the answer what to do..

Anonymous said...

Interesting comments....Funny how a bank boss can be protected by "Contract Law" so the money won't be coming back. Although I cannot condone the actions taken, I do sympathise with BBAC.

Before you read on... I am in the financial world and I am being penalised time and time again by the big banks and FSA (they paid themselves £20m in bonuses this year despite the economy increase my fees). Really sick of it!

So is anyone interested in using the same "contract laws" to hurt the banks "where it really hurts them?". I have a product the banks hate with a passion, but not sure how to use it to its full potential. It takes money out of their pocket.

Anonymous said...

The government is in collusion with the banks plain and simple. Tony Blair now works for JPMorgan Chase in a "senior advisory capacity". What does Tony know about banking? Nothing, but his income was reported as being over 7 million a year. Wake up people! Its time for action...
